From There to Nowhere: A Band's Tale of the Open Road.
After a brief stay at Kiera's mother's house for the holidays, we decided to split up for a month so that the fellas could do some work, and Kiera and myself could get some new recording equipment. We headed down to Santa Cruz.
Down by the seaside, Kiera and I could do some major busking and band repping, and that's exactly what we did. In between the aimless beach bum days, and the consistent networking we got to go do some cool things. We went to a gem show with our old friend.
I got to face my fears, and see the ocean!
And we explored some rock n' roll famous sites like the Monterey County Fairgrounds where The Monterey Pop Festival was held in '67.
After a nice long break in Santa Cruz, Kiera and I decided to head back home for Christmas and NYE. A lot of our friends were home and our family's were missing us terribly.
Kiera and I played a show out one of our favorite hometown bars, Kinfolks and rang in the New Year the best way we know how; Jammin'.
So here we are, in Colorado. As we await the band to rejoin us, we've been putting some shows together and got some recordings ready to go, so stay tuned and wait for what The Barefoot Family Caravan is gonna do next!
